I have a lot of highly anticipated books all the time. Bookstagram is a big part of the problem, but if I like an author, I pay attention to when their books are releasing. Also I feel like I am always waiting for the next book in a series to release. So below is a list of some of my upcoming preorders!
The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout, releases April 20th – really annoyed that Canada can’t preorder this one, but I’m still including it on this list because I will be ordering it on pub day to arrive asap. It’s the third book in a series and book 2 ended with a huge HOLY CRAP moment. I need to know what happens.
The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren, releases May 18th – I’m so excited for this duos next rom-com I ordered it twice. Thankfully I realized in time and cancelled one of the orders.
Heartstopper Volume 3 by Alice Oseman, releases May 4th – I am soooooo impatient for the third installment of this graphic novel. It’s a budding love story between two young boys and it’s so fucking cute! Volume 4 releases in the US in May, but Canada has a seriously annoying delay on this one. If any of my American friends feel like sending me volume 4, I would love you forever haha!
Son of the Storm by Suyi Davies Okungbowa, releases May 11th – “From one of the most exciting new storytellers in epic fantasy, Son of the Storm is a sweeping tale of violent conquest and forgotten magic set in a world inspired by the pre-colonial empires of West Africa” Now doesn’t that sound amazing?
The Maidens by Alex Michaelides, releases June 15th – If you haven’t read The Silent Patient, you are missing out on an amazing thriller. So when I saw Michaelides next book was releasing and it was a thriller set at Cambridge University, I had to have it.
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston, releases June 1st – a love story that starts between two girls that meet on the subway, the best part of their days is now their commute. Until one finds out the other is actually a time traveler. SIGN ME UP.
While We Were Dating by Jasmine Guillory, releases July 13th – I love Guillory’s romcoms. I have read all but one of them, and I’m hoping to read that one before July. So you know I’m gonna need her next book.
Isn’t it Bromantic by Lyssa Kay Adams, releases July 20th – Book 4 in a rom-com series about a group of men that read romance novels to help them in their relationships. I’m eagerly awaiting this next installment.
So I’ll continue to stalk the mail delivery waiting impatiently for all these books that will most likely not be read anywhere near release date…
