November Wrap Up

Whooo it really feels like November flew by. If you’re looking for an update of the Addie LaRue saga, today, November 30th, it has been delivered. I am currently at work wishing I was at home to go and collect it from the mailbox. A few more hours and that book will be in my hands!!!!

I had a great reading month. I mostly kept to my Angie Way schedule except for 2 books. I didn’t read Addie LaRue for obvious reasons and I didn’t read Wayward Son which I will explain below.

My second book by Iona Grey, Letters to the Lost, was just as lovely as the first. When I finished I sent it to my friend Alexandra in Montreal so she could read it too! I read The Bride Test for bookclub and really enjoyed it, we are having a zoom meeting next week to discuss. I read a nonfiction called The Power of Knitting which was so interesting and I highly recommend for all knitters. I read a book of poetry called Burning Sugar, read The Secret all about the law of attraction, and I finished Hollywood Park. So a great nonfiction month! I read a cool YA historical fiction called The Enigma about code breaking during WW2. I read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, it was a cool story but the teenagers were too whiny for me, which is why I didn’t read the sequel Wayward Son. I’ll save it for later.

I read White Ivy by Susie Yang with a big group organized by Tandem Collective Global. They sent me the book with question cards slotted in. I’m going to do a full review for that one next week. But the discussion group was so fun, you need to be able to talk to someone that has read White Ivy while you read it because it’s a twisty one.

I was also privledged to receive an early digital copy of Forever Wild by KA Tucker which releases tomorrow. It was a short novella about Calla and Jonah. It was Christmas-y and cute, and emotional. It was perfect. And finally last night I finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I am so annoyed with myself for leaving this one of my shelf for so long. It was an absolutely beautiful book and a wonderful love story. I highly recommend it! So a grand total of 11 books completed in November and currently reading Stamped from the Beginning, and still listening to He Started It, hoping to finish both of those in December.

How was your reading this month? Tell me what your favourite read was! Mine was Evelyn Hugo.
